About the Bed-Stuy Choral Festival
The Bed-Stuy Choral Festival is a vibrant celebration of music, community, and the young voices that define our neighborhood. Established by the Brooklyn Youth Chorus, this inaugural event brings together students in grades 4–8 from all across the borough to experience the joy of collective singing at the historic Concord Baptist Church. More than just a performance, the festival serves as a musical bridge—connecting individual singers, school programs, and local church choirs for a day of intensive learning and artistic growth.
